Basic Terms for Maple Story

Welcome friends on Lineage Adena! Today my third part of small guide to great MMORPG, Maple Story. This one is not related to Maple Mesos or Maple Mesos Guide – I would like to add short list of basic terms, used in Maple Story.

Mapling – It’s the games way of talking about your adventuring. Mapling mean “playing in Maple Story” – you can travel, farm mesos or doing quests – it’s all Mapling ;-)

CC – or in other words – Change Channel. If you ask someone to CC, do not be rude about it. Like most other things that are annoying or pointless, it tends to not end well and they won’t listen to you. If someone asks you to CC, they want you to change the channel you’re using so that they can continue training in peace, or for whatever reason they have in mind.

NPC – Non-Player Character, so all the characters in the towns that just stand around or move a few feet. Yeah, you need them for quests – talking to NPC at the right time is how you start quest and stuff like that. What else about these NPC in Maple Story…Well, they have limited action and you don’t need to talk to them, if you don’t need quest, or if you are not ready for one.

KS – Kill Stealing. Lol my favorite term (just kidding)… It’s when someone in Maple Story of a higher level comes by where lower level characters are training and kills your opponents. It happens, so you can politely ask them to stop, or ask them to change channel, again do so politely. Well, you shouldn’t worry about it, if some do that, it’s frustrating, but you know…sh.t happens sometimes…

NX Cash – This money are special type of cash, created by Nexon (NX). You can use it to buy special items you can’t get otherwise. They made up this money, because you can only get them, by paying them normal money. Yeah – dollars or pounds. Anyway you can get that way, very cool Maple items. When you don’t have Maple Mesos, you can always get some NX Cash for real money.

Pots – It’s short form for potions. Potions are, in a sense, a life blood for your character. Like in other MMORPG, you need them to help out your character during tough fights or during normal game. Pots in Maple Story, are extremely important, because if you die – you will lose 10 % of your experience and on higher level it’s REALLY, REALLY ANOYING AND FRUSTRATING! Sry for caps…

Mush – Another short term, this one is from word – Mushroom. Well in Maple Story, there are lots of mushroom enemies, and many varieties of them. It’s sick and weird, but you can meet green mushroom, blue, orange, horned etc. It’s really annoying when you must fight with another mushroom, after you kill XXXXX mushroom. Well, I must say Mush is shorter word then Mushroom…;-)

PS I suggest also to DO NOT BEG FOR THINGS! Some players will kill in a sec, because it’s really frustrating when someone is beging you. You can ASK – only once, but begging constantly is like begging for quick death. You should remember that :-)

Maple Mesos Tips

Welcome! Today small tips for Maple Story to help you during the game and during Maple Mesos farming etc. Maybe part of this tips improve your game experience and really help you became very powerful warrior or terrible and dangerous mage ;-). I’m working on various tips right now so if you’ve got any suggestion, tip or helpful advice, just leave me a message. I will try to change form of my Maple Mesos Tips and Maple Guide in the future using your suggestion :-)

Anyway let’s get ready to ruuuuumble ;-)

- First of all the best enemies to fight on the beginning are on Victoria island are Slimes and Light Brown stumps. After that, move onto Dark stumps, then Green Mushrooms and Axe stumps.

- Another this is to buy some new equipment for a future level, if you can and if you are fully equipped.

- You should remember that thieves and swordsmen are generally a lot slower to level, melee attacks (close range combat). An archer or mage will level faster as they can hop around, hitting monsters at a distance. In other hand archer and mage is very vulnerable as a target.

- Attack weak enemies – you can earn more experience points farming in that way. I know this tips from other MMORPG, like Warhammer Online or World of Warcraft ;-). You should be effective and test all kind of monsters, how much time you spend, fighting with them. You should also take a look on weapons. You should use fast weapon with average damage – slower weapons have maybe great damage, but they are really slow which can be bad and less effective. Also using 2-handed weapons can be bad for you because you are missing around 15-16 defense.

- Try to collect every item to sell them for Maple Mesos. It can be good way to improve your Maple Mesos account ;p

- If you’ve got problem to hit monsters, you should rise your Dex(terity). Some players don’t know about that, that’ why I want to remind this thing.

- If a level is over crowded, you can always change channel. You will remain in the same level and your game experience will rise :-) I don’t like to much crowd in Maple Story.

- Remember to keep all the ores you find! Yeah you can earn a lot of mesos if you sell them – something around 200-300 Mesos, but these ores are really important and need to upgrade your armor + gloves! Ores are very, very, very rare, so try to remember that!

- Watch out after level 30! If you die, you are losing 10%+ exp! It’s terrible thing – just like in Tibia, you should you should find a safe place to idle for a few minutes. This will slowly regenerate your hit points. From my experience, I know very well that a lot of t quests above level 10, you should left and try them on level 50. This way you don’t need to worry about death. It’s most important thing to watch out for your HEALTH! STAY ALIVE my friend, I was really angry when I died several times ;-) Remember Diablo 2? When you died, you lost around 10 % of your experience points. I remember that I destroyed my PC mouse and my speakers in fury ;) I just smashed them with my fist ohh and my keyboard was also destroyed I just jumped on my poor keyboard…Well it was long time ago – now I’m peaceful guy ;-)

- You are looking for quests? Check out Perion, Lith Harbor and Henesys.

- On the end I would like to talk about armor sets. They’ve got level requirement of every 5 levels, so you can obtain new one on 10, 15, 20 etc level.

After hard day, very intensive Maple Mesos farming, you should rest some time. One or two days without Maple Story can really help you. I’m trying to play in this MMORPG, only when I want ;-) only for fun and only if I’m in good mood. There is nothing worst then unhappy Maple Mesos farmer or player ;p

Maple Story and Maple Mesos

Welcome on Lineage Adena – Blog. Today I would like to talk about Maple Story and Maple Mesos fantastic 2D, side-scrolling massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by Wizet.
Well game is free, but you can buy items for special cash, called NX Cash. These money are made up kind of money, by the creators of the game, that you pay real money for. You need these money to buy special, powerful items – but you don’t need to do that. You can enjoy game for free :-). To play so you just have to own Internet access to participate in exciting adventures in Maple Story world. Like in other MMORPGs, your main task is to discover all, virtual world and evolve your character (well leveling can take a really long time, especially once you’ve picked a job and get into the higher levels). There are four main continents common to all versions in the MS world: Maple Island, Victoria Island, Ossyria and Masteria. Each is more difficult, then previous one. It may not look the prettiest in comparison, but it’s fun and free, and that’s way more than enough incentive for me. In this game you will meet other players from around the world and you’ll interact with them. On the beginning you should read Maple Mesos Guide or Maple Story Guide to help you during the game.

Well, what do you need to know about Maple Story? Check out these stuff!
1. Maple is free, but you can buy special items for money called “NX Cash” (to get them you need real money)

2.Maple Story is great MMORPG which is Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game.

3. Official currency in MS are Maple Mesos. There are many ways to get these money, that’s why I will write more about this subject. Like in other MMORPG, you need many Maple Mesos.

4. As of February 2006, Wizet has generated 200 million USD from the game service in South Korea. Wizet received 110 million USD for licensing the games to other parts of the world.

5. It’s massive online game, so don’t be surprise if you meet hordes of gamers ;-)

6. Maple Story is a side scrolling 2D role playing game, just like old arcades, years ago… Official system requirements are very low, anyway check them out down below!

7. Grind, Grind, Grind… Sometimes game is really boring, try to relax and take a break. You don’t need to farm Maple Mesos or level up so much.

8. Well, in Maple Story you can play as a Thief, Magician, a Bowman or a Warrior. Fresh new class is called Pirate.

9. Maple Story is most popular MMORPG in history has nearly 50 millions gamers around the world.

10. You need to be patient on higher levels, sometimes you need to farm many monsters and travel large distance to get something. At higher levels, it can take up to a month before a player can level once, depending on how often you play…Well, so you need to be patient lol ;-)

Lineage III source code stolen

Welcome on Lineage Adena – Weblog. Did you know what happened to source code for Lineage III? NCSoft is informed some time ago that the source code for Lineage III was stolen by few former employees and later sold to a Japanese competitor (I wonder which one…only one company is coming into my mind but i don’t wanna talk about it, because i don’t know details ;-)). Well, Seoul Metropolitan police, is informing that 7 ex-employees of NCSoft are suspected in this crime.

Police is speculating that the theft likely occurred during a long series of job interviews with an unknown Japanese company in February. Probably then those former NCSoft employees provided examples of their software work to this Japanese company. Police is still working under this case and is really hard to say, when it will end.
What is quite interesting, these 7 ex-employees are also believed to have played a part in the leak of the Lineage III program design.

Well Lineage III premiere and project is now little bit more complicated, but releasing date can be around 2011.
If i find more about that i will gladly write something.

Chinese hacker in Lineage II

Welcome on Lineage Adena – Weblog. You probably heard about this case but i should talk about this anyway. Well, according to vnunet.com, Japanese authorities have arrested year ago a Chinese student for hacking into our beloved game – Lineage II.
This Chinese dude has crafted a deadly and very evil bot that strip a player’s characters from all possible items such as armor, weapon and adena. This theft, later just sell all stuff on auction websites and completed all transaction in the game. Other players who encountered this hacker thought they saw a regular player and they didn’t even think about such things like robbery. But as the two would engage in a Player vs. Player fight, the hacker proved undefeated in combat and would leave other player unable to continue playing in Lineage. Mr. Mike Crouch who is PR manager for NCSoft company, said that “Bots are the biggest problem we face with Lineage II,”, “We kick people out if they use bots. “he added. Well this case was year ago or something and this problem is probably resolved but if anything happen, just send e-mail to proper authorities.

I heard that NCSoft is scanning game to catch all hackers using illegal software and doing illegal activities but bots are becoming more and more complicated and complex. This fight will be probably long but hackers are very dangerous for players and they must be beat at all cost.

Lineage adena and powerleveling tips part 2

Welcome on Lineage Adena – Weblog.Today more advices related to Lineage adena and powerleveling. Well if you want to know more about adena farming in Lineage read my earlier post and this one of course heh.

If you want make playing in Lineage more efficient and fun, you can download few addons for this game. Most popular addons for MMORPG are related to damage meters, special quests helping tools or tool related to Auction House help.

If you want more adena, check from time to time prices on auction house it’s probably best place to earn adena in Lineage. In other MMORPG is also important place with very large potential. For now let’s just say, check prices and know which price is good for you and others.

Crafting is another way to earn tons of in-game currency in all such games. In Lineage 2 are 5 kinds of recipes, most importantly materials and items, and then the special cases: arrows, shots, and compressed packages. But in other hand only dwarves can craft in Lineage…

Lineage adena and powerleveling tips part 1

Welcome on Lineage Adena – Weblog. How to earn adena in Lineage? Well it’s very easy, just like powerleveling of your character = avatar.

First thing! While playing in Lineage 2 you must take all new quests you find on your way. Especially if you are on new area, you can find then lots quests related to each other. If you complete part of them you will be able to earn faster experience points and adena. Almost in every MMORPG i ever played, this strategy is best way to level up your character fast.
During your adventures you should remember also about clean inventory. You should be ready for any new item in your inventory. Personally i had problem with that but clean inventory is for you own good and comfort.

You know in Lineage, sometimes is better to travel alone and fight some enemies alone, it’s best way to grind some adena and experience. If you are doing some quests, party is needed and you should be in party while questing.

Last thing today is very important source of information, website with basics and information about items, armors, quests and other specific stuff. I visit often Allakhazam.com, but it’s only my choice ;-).

Angry ex-girlfriend

Welcome on Lineage Adena – Weblog. Did you ever heard about Japanese woman who was arrested few months ago for wiping account in Lineage?! Well this very evil and selfish girlfriend logged into her ex-lover Lineage account with his username and password.. After that..you know what happened next. Well he lost very valuable character, he played almost one year in Lineage. This story is scary, I’m not some kinda geek or something but if my ex-girlfriend would done such a thing…well i hope all that kind of data is know copied on in-game data base or something like that. Backup copy option would be very good move in online games. Well it’s hard to trust these days anyone, but how her ex- boyfriend or where he put his login and password? He should keep it somewhere safe. Well that sure was dumb but only his ex-girlfriend is responsible for this crime.
“I did it as revenge for breaking up with me,” she told at police station.
What is interesting, couple actually met through playing the game. After some time they actually start to love each other….love blossomed..

On the end i must say one thing. Dear online friends! Keep your game passwords and username data somewhere safe!

Linage 2 Servers

Welcome on Lineage Adena – Blog! Today I bring you list of server for Lineage 2

Another server for Lineage 2 is Sayha. This server is one of the few reserved for role-playing adventures in Lineage II. Game was created in 2004 by popular Korean company and now it’s classic mmorpg. Now NCSOFT is working under another part of Lineage adena.

Sayha is server to play online for fun, in Lineage II. You can very easily obtain lots of items and stuff in this cool mmo game. Game is pay-for-play so you need to pay fee for every month of your online adventures in Lineage II. But it’s really worth of it.

Sayha is server related to Lineage II, game was created in 2004 by popular Korean company. . Game is pay-for-play. L II with cool manga design is really good game and everyone should be satisfied while playing it. Welcome on Sayha server.

Bartz – It’s really hard to tell about connection of Bartz to Lineage II game, probably is name of someone from game producing team or name of voice actor. Who knows? Anyway Bartz is name of Lineage II server and this server is one of the oldest one from all other Lineage servers.

Devianne – Devianne is another server mystery. It’s hard to guess what this mean; even on wikia this word is unknown. Anyway like server Bartz, Devianne is server for Lineage II: Chaos Chronicles. If you are owner of original version of game you can subscribe yourself on this Lineage server and play with fun. L2 Adena is ok.

Franz – It’s really hard to tell much about Franz. It’s was popular name in Europe in XIX century, in eastern and central-eastern part of Europe. Where is connection to Lineage II? It’s difficult to say. Maybe it’s someone from producing company or voice actor or whatever…

Phoenix is another server related to PvP in popular game Lineage II: Chaos Throne. Game was created few years ago by Korean Company NC-Soft. Game was released around 2004 and now players witness 4 anniversary edition of Linage II. Game is still very popular.

Luna is server for very good mmo game in fantasy world of sword and shield (or Axe and another Axe, whatever ;p ) anyway it’s one of the finest MMORPG created before entering of real champion – World of Warcraft. Luna is server dedicated to all players who like role-playing.

Aria – Aria is one of the servers for popular MMORPG Lineage II. You can play on this server like on other servers, like Lionna or Luna. Aria is normal type server and every player can play in Lineage II on it. So check out Lineage Adena again!

Teon (or Theon) is probably name of great mathematic who worked in Alexandria around IV century; he was last director of Great Library of Alexandria, closed in year 391. It’s also name of popular Lineage II server, Teon. Everyone can subscribe and play on this server.

Sayha is server related to Lineage II, you may know this popular online game, created in 2004 by popular and experienced company NCSOFT. If you are looking for interesting mmorpg, with interesting manga design you should be satisfied in Lineage.

Well Lineage II was my first MMORPG i never played so much in game where most of time you must grind and fight with powerful monsters. Game has very interesting atmosphere and every crpg fan should be satisfied, but remember to play very active part in your online community. Playing alone or speaking to other people is very important in such games.

Welcome on Lineage adena weblog

Welcome, my weblog – lineageadena – is dedicated to one of the greatest and most interesting MMORPG, Lineage II: The Chaotic Throne. Game is really awesome game is one of the top Korean game in genre of MMORPG (massive multiplayer online role-playing game) and prequel of Lineage. Lineage was released by Korean company, NCSoft on October 1, 2003 in South Korea and has today around 500.000 unique users. In Lineage you can pick one of six races: Human, Dwarf, Elf, Dark Elf, Orc and Kamael. Main currency in Lineage is Adena (i will write something like guide for adena in the future so any adena seeker should take a look on my advices about this topic. Of course if you want to!).

Well like in other games in that genre after you create your character you are starting journey to discover large in-game world, fight with monsters and experience points and powerful items. Lineage is looking little bit like manga game or something like that, everything is similar in my opinion to popular anime – Record of Lodoss War, if you know this anime, you know about I’m talkin right now ;-).
Ok for now that’s it, i hope you will be satisfied with content of my weblog. I will try to create possible best and most valuable weblog with topics about adena and adena farming.
